Looking Between the Lines - Sweethaven Manor

    LOOKING BETWEEN THE LINES
    SWEETHAVEN MANOR
Christina stood by her window of Sweethaven Manor looking down on to the beautiful grounds, watching her pet dog running through the nicely laid out hedges.  She wished so much that her parents would return from London as it was getting quite boring being at the manor with nobody except the servants.  A message came yesterday stating that they had to stay in London for another week or so.

Being rich had its ups and downs; this was one of the downs.  Christina had to be at home when her parents were not, even though their servants were very, very trustworthy, it was something her whole family always did.  This was from her great grandparents to her own parents.  When Christina's elder brother Edward was home it was up to him to stay home.  At this time Christina wished her brother Edward was there, Edward had flown to America a few weeks before.

Christina went to the library where she got a book of the history of the Manor.  She always liked reading of things of yesteryear.

This day as she got the book from the South wall, something dropped from the shelf to her feet.  It was 2 pieces of paper with very old type writing on it, only it was part of today's manner of speaking.  This puzzled Christina as the paper was as old as the writing.

    The words stated thus:

"Please do not be shocked at what you see.  My name is Edward like your brother.  Your brother duth know of me.  We pass letters to each other through time.  Your brother said that if I had news to pass it on to you dearest Christina.  He told me of what books you read so I could put this news there.  Christina my work has left me stunned as I think the energy in my Library is changing when I think of being somewhere I am there.  The other day I found myself in my garden on the South side.  I seem to be going further and further out. I do not know what is happening and at this time of your history if I were to tell I would be locked up for sure.  To morrow night I will stand in this space and think of you and see what comes to pass.  Dearest Christina would I be so bold in asking if you to could stand in this same space in your time and see if the energy changes with you?  You may answer this by just placing the paper where this note was.".

Well that is part of the story I hope you enjoyed the beginning. It may change as this is only part of the first draught there are many more pages.
